Advocacy, Accountability, and Austin
Meet my brother Austin
Austin was my youngest brother who took his life at just 16, leaving behind a community that loved him and a family shattered by his sudden loss. Known for his ginger hair, humor, and close-knit relationships, Austin’s death propelled me to confront men’s mental health struggles and dedicate my career to suicide prevention.
Advocating for Strength in Mental Health
For over two decades, I’ve experienced what it means to be a man, and I know firsthand that exploring mental health only adds to the strength of that journey. I’m here to advocate that discussing mental health will not strip you of your "man card"—in fact, it’s an essential part of being the best version of yourself.
Bold Look at Modern Masculinity
Through my work, I aim to make you laugh, think, and feel deeply about what it truly means to be a man in today's world. I believe in three core pillars: healthy masculinity, mental health, and vulnerability. My ultimate goals? To provide accountability, help others face life’s challenges, and demonstrate the power of setting and achieving personal goals.
Author of Things in My Pocket
As an Author, my book Things in My Pocket delves into the stories behind everyday objects—simple items that reveal profound truths. One of the most significant parts of this journey is a letter to my youngest brother, written after his tragic passing, which sheds light on grief, love, and resilience.
Speaking Engagements
As a Speaker, I engage audiences with insights on men’s mental health and the pursuit of a meaningful life. I’m passionate about connecting with professionals, learning from their experiences, and furthering clinical mental health awareness. My goal is to bring warmth, compassion, and effective care as a counselor to all I encounter.
